The Argentina Polo Tour organizes five tournaments during the year, four tournaments in in the fall season and the other at the spring season. Each tournament has a duration of twelve days.
In 2006, the Argentina Polo Tour was born as joint initiative from Adolfo Cambiaso and Gonzalo Pieres. Their main idea was to organize a polo season during the periods of February-March in which the weather conditions are optimal and the fields are at their very best level. The ultimate goals were to promote polo in Argentina, to define horses and to give the possibility to new talents to participate in tournaments with foreigners and high handicap players. Currently, The Polo Tour has succeeded in becoming a desirable option in the international calendar of polo.
